Toast this vibrant neighborhood’s booming craft beer scene with our selection of local favorites.
A recent wave of trendsetting eateries, microdistilleries and coffee roasters has helped transform the Central Eastside from an industrial and warehouse district to a hub for Portland’s creative scene. With its myriad breweries and beer bars, this bustling neighborhood practically overflows with award-winning suds — use this itinerary to build your perfect pub crawl.
Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery
This outpost of the popular regional brewery Rogue Ales boasts a whopping 55 taps — 36 pouring Rogue’s core beers (like famed Dead Guy Ale) and limited releases, and 19 more featuring other local breweries. At the pilot brewery near the back of the pub you can try experimental Rogue beers, some of which are only available at the Rogue Eastside Pub & Pilot Brewery. Fill up on satisfying pub fare, supplement your imbibing with spirits from the bar or play your favorite lawn game on their expansive patio.
